Ask yourself, what is our purpose, who are we serving and are we ready to let go, explore what is possible and step into the future?

“Cathryn delivered an insightful, fun and highly impactful session for my staff and associates recently on building a sense of fun into our work as coaches, consultants and facilitators. Cathryn was terrific to work with, came so very well prepared and delivered a session that people still talk about! More importantly Cathryn instilled a sense of confidence in everyone in being able to create meaningful fun experiences for our clients.”

How does creative-in-residence work?

While training can increase productivity by 28%, it has been found that adding coaching to
training and learning increases productivity by 88%.

Then add to that program mix in-residence creative coaching, and you have a recipe for living and working well long into the future.

Our arts-based methodologies include the use of drawing, painting, building, digital facilitation cards, and other such creative approaches to disrupt people out of their busy day to day thinking and into innovative thinking.

These sessions can be delivered as consecutive whole days, or a series of full or half-days over a few months.

FAQs

What are creative-in-residence workshops?

Creative in-residence workshops are where I, as your coach or facilitator, deliver creative services at your business site.

Why adopt a creative-in-residence approach?

You should adopt a creative in-residence approach if you are looking to:

  • Regularly enhance collaboration for greater innovation.
  • Cultivate a creative culture and discover new ways to work together.
  • Shift your thinking and gain new perspectives.
  • Build creative confidence, experimentation, resilience and agility within the organisation.
  • Realise the opportunities and challenges within your organisation.
  • Discover what is important and uncover what is possible.
  • Bring your innovative ideas and projects to life.
  • Embrace and inspire positive change.

What's an artistic facilitator?

Artistic creative facilitators work with leaders, managers, teams, and individuals to develop creative confidence, capability, and wellbeing through arts-based aesthetic workshops. We apply our arts-based methodologies, such as images, stories, drawing, painting, music, nature, mindfulness, applied improvisation, play and journaling, to promote creative inquiry and professional artistry.

Why have a workshop?

Workshops allow participants to open up on issues and themes, rather than closing them down.

Our artistic approach to facilitating workshops encourages curiosity, thoughtful risk-taking, courage, a willingness to suspend judgement, and an ability to tolerate ambiguity, which further enables people to live and work well into the future.
