Building Capabilities – Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) Conference Brisbane 13-15 May 2026
Everyone’s talking about AI – Artificial Intelligence right now, particularly as it relates to work. It’s reshaping how we work, what skills matter, which jobs exist, and how decisions get made. Every new development wants you to be excited, but a lot of people are quietly anxious, and most are trying to figure out what it means for them.
And now, a seriously playful prompt for you.

What happens in your workshops? Leadership Made Visible
What happens when leadership is no longer just discussed, but expressed?
In one recent leadership workshop, as the afternoon unfolded, the walls filled with visual artefacts until we found ourselves standing in our own gallery, rich with imagery, words and connection. Each piece distinct, yet part of a shared experience.

Sip. Reflect. Connect. A Different Kind of International Women’s Day
To mark International Women’s Day in a more intentional way, I co-created Sip. Reflect. Connect with the Coffee Commune – a community I collaborate with often. What made the afternoon distinctive was the combination of three simple elements: a small welcoming space, a sensory experience that sparked curiosity, and time for conversation. Events like this remind me that when we slow down and engage our senses, conversations often move beyond the surface.
Come to Your Senses for International Women’s Day
In March I’m partnering with The Coffee Commune for something a little different in honour of International Women’s Day. You’re invited to Sip. Reflect. Connect.
Work in Motion
Work wise, the year has started with preparation for a government graduate leadership program, which kicks off very soon, ongoing coaching work, and time at Yellow Edge’s Futures (The Future in Us) Unconference, where I facilitated a Leadership Superpowers and Body Mapping session. I’ll be sharing more about that over time. In the meantime, I’ve included a few photos from our time together.
Maverick Minds Matters – The People, The Work, The Moments
As we move towards the end of the year, I’ve taken time to look back at the people and organisations I’ve had the good fortune to work alongside. It’s been a year filled with diverse projects, different industries, and unique opportunities.
How Ideas Become a Book: A Panel of Different Paths
On Thursday 27 November, I’ll be part of an author panel at the IABC Queensland and Change Management Institute’s Annual Book Fair end-of-year event. It’s a practical, down-to-earth event focused on the realities of writing, creativity, and working with people through change.
Rose Bud Thorn: A Simple Way to See What’s Working, What’s Emerging and What Needs Attention
Sometimes all you need is a structure to help you see your work with clearer eyes. ‘Rose Bud Thorn’ is one of my favourite (and simple) ways to help people visualise what’s working, what’s challenging, and what’s emerging next.
