Still unsure?
I wear two types of coaching hat so I can best help you.
One is: coaching for creativity – working with artists, creative practitioners and people who value creativity as an important skill and quality in their professional and personal life.
The other is for teams, leaders and organisations where we use a holistic systems coaching approach to understand the professional and personal systems we are all part of.
Through a systemic lens, we create greater awareness of the interconnectedness of things, the forces at play and how best to creatively navigate complexity and uncertainty.
A trusted solution
I’m experienced and qualified and always seek the best outcomes for my clients.
But don’t just take my word for it – have a read and see what they have to say about my services.
My background
An arts and business conference in a castle in Slovenia was a catalyst for the next phase of my professional life and became a major inspiration and driving force for my business practice.
Returning to Australia I launched myself into a Practice-Led Research Doctorate in Creative Industries and founded Maverick Minds.
The research and practice for my thesis Artful Inquiry: an arts-based facilitation approach for individual and organisational learning and development is what brings a unique range of skills, experiences and knowledge to how I work with clients.
Individual and collective creativity is essential in the workplace – not only for solving problems and innovating.
The ability to express our creative potential in a range of contexts leads to general wellbeing.
As a dedicated life-long learner I’ve undertaken various accreditations to develop my skills as a coach and facilitator.
Notably, I was Australia’s first certified creativity coach with the Creativity Coaching Association.
I’m the author of Seriously Playful Creativity: An A to Z of Creative Action and Reflection and co-author of The Story Cookbook: practical recipes for change and Facilitating with Stories: ethics, reflective practice and philosophies. And, the creator and host of Maverick Minds Podcast.
I’ve delivered workshops and presentations on topics such as creativity, innovation, and creative wellbeing, and can be contacted about this for your next conference or business retreat!
I’m also open to exploring other related topics.
I’m a regular early morning swimmer, yoga practitioner and have a small art studio where I escape and make collages.
In 2022 I gave myself a major art project, to make a daily artwork.
This culminated in an exhibition called A Year in Collage mm365.
These artworks are now part of my facilitation and coaching practice, and have become a curated collection of Shift Your Thinking digital cards for online facilitation and coaching.
