Identifying the issue

Artistic life and creative workspace can feel ‘swampy’ and messy, joyful, inspiring, and challenging. So many feelings and emotions arise when we commit to a creative practice. This in itself can feel confronting, challenging, confusing, and even intimidating to you, as the artist and creator, thus possibly inhibiting your business productivity and self-motivation. It may even leave you feeling a little lost, with no clear direction.

It’s often difficult to pinpoint the real reasons behind your business challenges. How are you then expected to address these issues without first knowing what exactly they are?

Applying the solution

My programs for coaching artists and creators start with you. I encourage and support you to step outside of your usual comfort zone, and explore new ways to express your artistic self.

At all times I have your artistic mind and the passion you have for your creative and artistic practice at the forefront. As a practicing artist myself, I’ll help you ask the questions you need to ask of yourself, and work with you to improve your processes, working environment, and even self-belief in such situations, so that your practice and business may flourish.

“I first took a course called “where to next“, which was facilitated by Cathryn for Flying arts. I had profound insights about my practice, it was a time I had to stop and look at my business from the outside. She helped me make decisions that suited my practice, philosophy and product when it came to building a community, marketing and communication. She helped me ask myself beautiful questions so I could find the right answers. I highly recommend Cathryn’s coaching.”
