Hello Mavericks
As we move towards the end of the year, I’ve taken time to look back at the people and organisations I’ve had the good fortune to work alongside. It’s been a year filled with diverse projects, different industries, and unique opportunities.
I’ve enjoyed putting together a short video montage. It captures the people, work, and moments that shaped 2025 and offers a glimpse into the range of contexts Maverick Minds has worked across this year.
What keeps this work alive and engaging for me is the variety. I have the privilege of working across different industries, personalities, challenges, and project needs. Each one brings something new. Every engagement exposes me to new ideas and different ways of working, inviting me to stretch, adapt, and explore creative, practical approaches that help people move through what’s getting in the way and make meaningful progress.
At the heart of all of this are the relationships. Trust builds over time, and I aim to make the work as co-creative as possible, whatever the context. The moments that stay with me, and bring the most joy, are when trust is high, connection is genuine, expectations are clear, and we have a shared sense of how we want to work together.
This year also reinforced the value of being in the room together. The in-person events I’ve been part of have highlighted how powerful it is to create genuine connection and hold the kind of diaphanous exploratory conversations that lead to tangible outcomes. I hope we’ll see and value more of that in 2026.
What is fascinating is that every client brings a different world into focus offering points of view and experiences I wouldn’t otherwise encounter. All of this shapes my practice and enriches the experience, knowledge, creativity, and innovation I bring to the table.
If you see something in the work of Maverick Minds that interests you, intrigues you, provokes or prompts curiosity about what might be possible for your team or organisation in 2026, simply get in touch. I’m always open to a conversation about what’s emerging and where you want to go next.
I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off over the holiday season. I’m looking forward to some quality time exploring a few projects, reading, catching up with people, developing upcoming client work, and spending quality time in my art studio for a group exhibition I will be involved with at the end of 2026.
For those who celebrate Christmas, and for those simply taking time out, I hope the coming weeks offer quality time with friends and family, moments of rest, and room for your own creative pursuits.
Thank you to everyone I’ve worked with this year – clients, collaborators, workshop participants, readers, and the people I’ve shared conversations and coffees with. Your openness and curiosity make this work what it is – endlessly fascinating.
As you shape your plans for 2026, I’m currently booking individual and team coaching, workshop facilitation, leadership coaching and programs, and Innovation Playground sessions. If you’d like to explore what might support your people or organisation next year, I’m always open to a conversation. I love connecting in person or virtually when being in person isn’t possible.
Before you head off here are three curious questions you might like to consider:
- What surprised you this year?
- What did you learn this year?
- What of that would you like to carry forward into 2026?
I look forward to catching up with you in 2026, ready to step into a new year of meaningful work, exceptional ideas, and more conversations that matter.
