How do you move your business from where it is to where you’d like it to be?

The steps between imagination and action come to life in the Innovation Playground – a creative workshop where participants use Maverick Minds Shift Your Thinking communication cards as catalysts to explore their businesses.

In the Innovation Playground, we use images as catalysts to bridge that gap between what is and what’s possible. Instead of crunching numbers and re-reading tired purpose statements, participants explore their business through a creative lens, choosing one image that reflects where things stand now, and another that represents the future they’d like to create.

It’s in the space between those two images that something powerful occurs. That space becomes a place for reflection and for identifying steps toward action. A visual way to explore what it might take to shift from the current state to a desired future.

New perspectives emerge. Patterns surface.

In that imaginative space and while applying ‘possibility thinking’, ideas start to take shape, stories unfold, and hopes feel tangible and actionable. The following steps become clearer, not through pressure, but through thoughtful Intention and play. It’s a straightforward yet powerful creative process. By turning the abstract into concrete, visible actions, choices, and opportunities, you can better identify what might bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. How do you move your business from where it is to where you want it to be?

Sometimes the answer doesn’t come from spreadsheets and traditional strategy sessions but from our creativity and the power of our imagination.

In the Innovation Playground, images act as catalysts for that very transition – offering vivid actionable steps between your business ‘now’ and your business ‘future’. It’s where imagination and action come together. By using image cards to shift your thinking, you’ll envisage new ideas and pathways to reach your goals.
