Along with many learning enthusiasts I’ll be at the AITD Brisbane Conference.

AITD is Australia’s peak professional body for Learning and Development, and this year’s theme is “Building L&D Capabilities. Value, Impact and Agility”, focusing on how we learn, lead, and evolve.

I’m looking forward to being part of a panel conversation about Creativity That Delivers: Turning Imagination into Action in Complex Systems, which is a natural home for the kind of work I regularly do.

We’ll be discussing the question of how you move creative thinking from idea to impact, inside organisations that are messy and pressured and rarely set up for it. It’s a very real and fascinating topic and I’m excited to explore it in a conference environment.

We’re in Sofitel Brisbane’s Ballroom Le Grand 2 & 3, from 3:40 to 4:25 pm on Friday May 15, which means if you’re there, the day is nearly done, and there’s no good reason not to stay for a catchup afterwards.
