When the School for Cybernetics at ANU first reached out to Maverick Minds, I was intrigued and a little surprised. Afterall Cybernetics is not a term I use every day, and one of my first thoughts was, What do I know about Cybernetics?
After considerable experience supporting leaders and teams to transform their organisations, and asking many questions along the way, the time felt right to develop and share a series of questions I generally ask clients at the beginning of their enquiry as to how Maverick Minds can help them with their challenges and opportunities.

Beyond the Woods: Innovation has become a buzz word, often seen as an organisational value, a core element of doing business and that thing that makes an organisation unique. It sounds good, and who doesn’t want to innovate, or who would say they don’t want to innovate? The paradox we face is that there is also an aversion towards it.
Sunday April 21 is World Creativity and Innovation Day. It serves as a reminder of the power of human creativity and innovation and the boundless potential that resides within each of us.
